Hi there! I wanted to welcome you to MOODS on Substack.

I have been writing about culture, society, identity, relationships & television for 15 + years, and while I love dissecting the culture we consume (while it consumes us in return), I’m ready for the next level. I reached a point, self-confidence mostly, to tackle personal stories. Deep, memoir-like, uncomfortable, and hopefully sometimes funny, stories.

The Substack platform feels nice. I get warm and fuzzy, being there. It feels friendly. Kind. Like a cup of hot chocolate will hand itself to me through the screen.

I can unpack there.

I want to write about joys, uncomfortable truths, satisfying lies, and everything in between.
